Segrëgates supporting Electric Eel Shock

Fulford Arms, Fulford Road, York

The rock and roll machine of Electric Eel Shock is rolling back into York!

Formed in Tokyo in the 90's, Electric Eel Shock have become a legendary band, touring all over the world, playing at many respectable rock concerts such as Roskilde Festival in Denmark, SXSW, and Bonnaroo. They have toured many times with such bands as Bloodhound Gang, Turbo Negro, Sepultura, The Subways, Enter Shikari...the list goes on! This is going to be a very fun show, from one of the most rock and roll bands on the planet.

"Mixing dark stoner rock riffs, with classic rock sensibilities and addictive songwriting hooks, EES occupy the gaping void somewhere between Queens Of The Stoneage, Black Sabbath and AC/DC" - Kerrang

"You'd have to be the most miserable of metal purists, or the ultimate elitist trend follower, not to allow yourself to simply enjoy this band" - Classic Rock

In support, we have some of York's heavy metal giants.

Segregates play Motorpunk. And they play it fast. They have filled the gap nicely that has been left behind by Lemmy's departure. They have recently released and album through American label Cleopatra Records and we are very proud to have them on this show. Check them out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llaJYw_E700

Also on the show we have Naked Six. These guys have risen to be one of York's greatest exports. They formed at the Access To Music college and have since become an unstoppable force. Check them out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjpPBAO9xEc
